7AI launches fully managed agentic security operations service
7AI has launched PLAID ELITE, a fully managed AI-native security operations service that uses autonomous agents with oversight from 7AI engineers. The company says it can handle alert triage, investigation and response continuously, while reducing false positives and speeding investigations from hours to minutes.
7AI Inc. on Tuesday announced PLAID ELITE, a fully managed, AI-native security operations service that combines autonomous AI agents with oversight from 7AI security engineers. The company says the service is designed to provide continuous, follow-the-sun coverage without forcing customers to build or expand their own operations teams.
PLAID ELITE handles the main work of security operations on its own, according to 7AI. That includes ingesting alerts, enriching them with context, triaging them, investigating incidents and carrying out response tasks. The company said its agents are typically able to complete investigations end to end without human intervention.
7AI says customers keep visibility and control over their security posture while the agents run continuously across the environment. The service is meant to differ from the traditional managed-services model, where coverage usually scales with the number of analysts available. In 7AI’s version, performance is supposed to improve as investigation volume grows, because the system accumulates more context on customer environments, attacker behavior and signal patterns.
The company described the model as self-reinforcing. According to 7AI, new threats trigger automated hunting, those hunts feed investigations, the investigations inform response actions and the response data is then used to improve detections.
7AI said the goal is to move security teams away from repetitive triage work and toward threat hunting, detection engineering and more proactive defense tasks. “PLAID ELITE combines agents that investigate continuously with 7AI security engineers adding the context and judgment that expertise actually requires,” said Israel Barak, chief information security officer of 7AI.
The launch comes after a busy year for the startup. 7AI was founded in 2024 by Lior Div and Striem-Amit, who previously co-founded Cybereason Inc. The company was in the news in December when it raised $130 million in Series A funding from Greylock, CRV, Spark Capital, Blackstone Innovations Investments and Index Ventures.
7AI said it has processed more than 7 million investigations across customer environments in its first year of enterprise-scale operation. The company said its agents complete most investigation work end to end on their own. It also reported that customer adoption has accelerated, with its customer base growing threefold quarter over quarter and its channel pipeline increasing 6.5 times over three quarters.
Current customers include DXC Technology Co., BigID Inc., Duck Creek Technologies Inc., OneSpan Inc. and the law firm Cole Scott & Kissane. Across those deployments, 7AI said it has seen false positives fall by 95% to 99% and investigation times drop from hours to minutes.
The company also said enterprise customers can move from signed contract to first autonomous investigation in under 72 hours and reach full production in under 30 days, according to 7AI. It added that its partnership with Amazon Web Services Inc. has advanced, with the service listed on AWS Marketplace as “Deployed on AWS,” accepted into the AWS ISV Accelerate program and available through AWS Security Hub Extended.
7AI said roughly 45% of its pipeline now comes through channel partners.
